What should I focus on prelims for the UPSC 2025 exam?
The UPSC 2025 exam is quickly approaching, and many candidates are trying their hardest to pass it by any means possible. As a result, many are attempting a variety of new areas of preparation, such as focusing on mentorship support or trying to find the best prelims-oriented books. However, among all of these additive features, there are a few common areas that one must pay attention to in order to be well-versed in prelims preparation.
To help with preparation, some examples of things to do include reading all of the NCERT books to strengthen your foundation and, of course, other higher-level books to raise your preparation level. You should also update your knowledge of current events, analyze previous year question papers, solve multiple practice tests, and be able to handle questions from a variety of angles.
However, some people are still lost about what to do and how to do it, just as I was during my two UPSC prelims attempts. I used to struggle a lot, felt bewildered by my failures, and was unable to identify the underlying reason for them. Eventually, though, I learned about MISSION PRELIMS, an exclusive prelims-oriented program offered by one of the best coaching institute for IAS in Delhi- EDEN IAS, due to recommendations from friends.
The first thing I noticed when I joined it was that I could create connections between all the topics, whether they were static to static or current to static, which was completely comprehensively expanding my knowledge and efficiency. I was really mesmerized by the idea that someone could prepare for their prelims using such an amazing strategy. In addition, the topic experts and mentors were so helpful that I was able to connect with them in both the group and individualized mentorship discussions. This has helped me think beyond what I could have done on my own and has broadened my skill set. Furthermore, the materials provided and the classroom discussions have been quite helpful in guiding me during the entire preparation process.
In addition, as a result of everything said above, I was able to pass the UPSC CSE 2025 preliminary exams. This was made possible because my foundation had been established and I was receiving all the necessary guidance.
